From 2 sides Thanks @Denis Nazin because of your design, I followed you to create a demo with a red, green, blue color composition. This is beautiful to look at.
Wow!!! This is incredibly cool! I am very far behind in your research. I need to check out this research thread when I have some free time. Thanks a lot. These demos are really needed on the main level branch! I am sure that it will be interesting and useful for all mekorama players!
We all know by using ball, robot can become unstable. Robot's step becomes more forward / backward from the position it should be. Let's see, is it under these conditions the robot can climb the wedge?
It's interesting that there needs to be one block between the ball and the first wedge for it to work.
Thanks to @Sammy 5 and @cimarronline for the comments on the Lingga level by @Rizal . By floating robot can climb the wedges well. Here it takes a zapper to make the first wedge passable. Actually I've made it with star shadows, but with stairs it seems easy to make and has no risk.
After seeing your diagonal walking with rounded stones demo, it made me wonder if R would climb a wedge starting from a rounded stone. This takes some time, but they all eventually make it to the top.
This is funny. I didn't expect even though there was only 1 block in front of the stair but it worked. Three stairs win.
The Limbo Walk by @retrograde was amazing. The robot can pass through anything, even up and down wedge hills. Another reference: R Tricks Demo II by @cpw When R Limbos by @Fendi But the trick is no longer working. Can only work on one block in front of it. Spoiler So what does that have to do with Wedge Climbing if it doesn't work? We will replace Limbo with Bowing. When bowing, what the robot sees is the lower level (red brick). When robot climbs the first wedge, then wedge climbing mechanism will work

This is a demo by @Helena for smol bot. By raising block slightly before stair, headless R can climb the wedge. This mechanism based on Exp 019 (for normal bots) by @BangTe
I just realized robot was still on tiptoe when he was above elevated stair. So robot can climb to a higher level. Spoiler: Elevated Stair We can take advantage of this situation to make robot climb the wedge.
