Can anybody give me a spoiler on how to do the springboard stair trick or whatever it's called?

Stand on the stair. Tap the block behind and then a block in front as quickly as you can. If you get it right, the block in front will show as the white dot and B will walk back to the first block you tapped, then immediately jump the space to the second block you tapped.
