Very interesting and confusing level with good mechanics and logic. I really liked it, of course 5.
Regarding your question:
mechanisms for me worked very well and stably!! But I had a completely different problem (not related to the mechanisms) - I had a ball stuck in the same place three times in a row :

Because of this, I had to restart. I don't know why the ball gets stuck in this place? But it happened to me three times. Everything else is great. Thank you for an interesting level.

This ball catching, it's strange, it never happened to me. I didn't put the wedge, because the fall happened out of place. But I'm glad you didn't give up.
