Until recently, you could tap Reply on a specific message, and your reply would be helpfully populated with a Quote block. Now, it just pastes the username in your reply instead. Yes, you can add a Quote block yourself, but it's empty of all the helpful bits, viz. the username whom you're quoting, and the link to the post that you're quoting. So how do we get the helpful Quote block back? I also noticed briefly a feature where you could select the text you wanted to quote, and a tooltip would display which, if tapped, would start a reply with the helpful Quote block populated including the text you selected. This alternative also seems to have disappeared
Still seems to work for me. Have you tried logging out and back in? How about using incognito mode or a different browser?
Aha! Ok, the text-selection → tooltip process does work still .. but only in these, non-level, threads. Also the Reply option on each message. Well that's good. Half good. So it's only in the threads where levels are posted that it's broken, and where it's most needed. Any hope of getting it back?
The "Levels" section is a "Media Gallery" add-on to the Xenforo platform and has always had peculiarities. In fact I don't remember context replies ever being available in the "Comments" section/tab on media uploads. From a software engineer's perspective, I can see the logic in this as comments on media are typically unlikely to be threaded conversations (unlike "Forum" "threads").
