Here are some of features/contents that I would like to be added in the game. 1. Level makers grid -So that players know the limit borders. This way, players can decide what to build beforehand. 2. Bouncy block -Bounce the bot that walk on it. 3. Electronic system -Add wires, pressure plate, switch and some block that activate upon powered by electricity. Have any ideas? Post it here
Well, you could improvise for now. The grid would be cool, but you could just put blocks on the borders when you create a level to keep track of them (and yes, I know it's a small hassle, but you could do it for now) There is a mechanism to make B bounce/jump, but you'll have to move it by yourself (B won't automatically jump when he walks on it). But if you're curious, here it is: http://mekoramaforum.com/media/tiny-jump-demo.3356/. The electronic system would be nice, but I like the simple design of the game, and how you can still create great things. There are a lot of ball-activated mechanisms and such that are being used now instead of electricity.
I like the idea of a grid, although it may get in the way when working with 3-dimensional worlds. If I'm not mistaken, the limits are 16x16x16 blocks. But, yes, knowing where the corners of that are would help.
There is no set grid or borders, that would actually be bad because you would have to pre-plan where to start to fit in your larger levels. The only restriction is you can't build larger than 16 on a side.
I agree with @B Hill The current builder allows for flexibility, meaning that I can adjust my levels edges using blocks, I can't count how many times I had to adjust margins while building a level :3
But bigger levels might cause a lot of lag on small devices (my phone already lags a lot when there are a lot of elements in a level). How much bigger would you like it, though?
You are absolutely correct but my intention was to create a level that can be completed in multiple steps...ie multiple puzzles in the same level.....thats y i want bigger level creation area....like 30*30*30 blocks
Very interesting idea, but couldn't you separate the puzzles? People may actually get annoyed if it takes long to solve, as progress isn't saved in Mekorama.
