A lot of good rock 'n roll came out in 1976, and a lot of it charted near the top. Most was from established groups, but there were a few new groups as well, ones that went on to fame and fortune. The following is a list of albums that I have (or at least a song or two from them) - I'll just list group and album, except for a few special instances. Deep Purple had broken up by this point, and both BTO and Motörhead did albums in '75 and '77, but not '76. I've got a "Spirit of 76" playlist on my laptop that goes on for almost 4 hours...
