   In this playable demo I have 3 sliding set of blocks going in and out of a tunnel. I put stars on the end of the sliding blocks and noticed they go into the wall! They disappear until the sliding blocks move back out of the tunnel.
   
   Is this a known bug?

   Yes, stars can move into or through stationary (unmovable) blocks, and are not triggered by them. That is by design. They can also move into/under the white floor of the level.
