If you can’t upload screenshots on the level’s comment page because it has no URL link, you can upload to here first to get (and copy) the URL link, and then you can paste the URL link to the comments. @Ray Aznable Thanks for creating a video to show people how to use the sandbox: @nGord Thanks for suggesting me to create this thread. Just one rule: Things that are not related to images are not allowed to post here.
@EL797 - credit goes to you! Very clever of you to notice that attachments to forum messages result in having their own dedicated URLs. In other words, if a picture is attached here and subsequently clicked on, then the URL to that picture can be used with the Image button to attach it now to a Level comment. No more need for external accounts (like Imgur).
An edit of Hidden Places 2 for use in my level creation help thread... Spoiler: Image Picture of accidental brawl in La Resistance for comment Spoiler: Image
Spoiler: reply URL link feature in this forum doesnt support google drive link, still need to use aplication like Imgur to get BB code... done edit my picture above. and then about google drive link i see ur guide im required to edit the link format isnt it ... @Frenzies i see in ur profile description u have 18 levels but actually there are only 12 levels shown in ur media page. that mean u have 6 hidden levels or ur count number got error same as mine... caused by in the past maybe u did upload then delete many times. it works if the link modified abit as mentioned by Fish @Frenzies @nGord please dont delete these flower pictures. i use them for my discussion in PM. i have cropped the pictures so they dont have any text related to outside social media. Spoiler: FIRST IMAGES
The point of this thread is to use it as an alternative to Imgur (and Google Drive that I don't think works in any case).
You actually can embed Google Drive images; you need to get the direct link to the image itself. There's probably a way to get it yourself, but one way is to use a site like https://sites.google.com/site/gdocs2direct/. Spoiler: Example
Figured it out; you can get the ID from the link and use the format https://drive.google.com/uc?id=YOUR-ID. Essentially, replace `/file/d` with `uc?id=` and remove the parts after the ID. Spoiler: Before https://drive.google.com/file/d/10tapf39ig3jD-tBVJ1tdHPEYIsQ-Wc56/view?usp=drivesdk Spoiler: After https://drive.google.com/uc?id=10tapf39ig3jD-tBVJ1tdHPEYIsQ-Wc56 (You may need to add export=view to the query string if you're embedding it on one of your websites or something, but this seems to work fine on the forum)
@nGord i dont have idea to upload image from my smartpgone gallery, then generate BB code from this forum... how?
There is an "Upload a File" button next to "Post Reply" which you can use to upload an image. I'm not sure what you mean about generating BB code; if you want to embed it on a forum post, you can simply upload it there directly and press "Full Image". If you want to use it on a comment in the Levels subforum, you can upload it here then get the link and embed it just like you tried to embed your Google Drive link.
i usually use this app Spoiler: picture thats what i mean about BB code link especially for forum format of website. html php
Spoiler: LINKPICTURE aplication wow very good i never knew about "upload a file" feature... im seldomly chat in topic thread thats why... and i see there is no "upload a file" button in level comment.
Yes, but if you want to embed an image, you can simply press the image icon next to the smiley face in the editor and enter the URL. If you really want to use BBCode manually, I think the format is: Code: [IMG]https://drive.google.com/uc?id=10tapf39ig3jD-tBVJ1tdHPEYIsQ-Wc56[/IMG] Spoiler: Test By the way, please hide big images in spoilers or simply don't embed the full image (as you did with your latest comment) so it doesn't take up so much viewing space. Yes, that's the point of this thread; you can upload an image here, then get the link and embed it in level comments.
Spoiler: reply usually do hide my embeded picture in every post at level comment, also my long text reply in spoiler window. anyway i still dont get it about google drive link, should i choose "general code" option to post google drive link???
You did not hide the screenshot of the LinkPicture app in this thread; will you edit it to put it in a spoiler or shall I? Generally, you would not use Google Drive; the whole point of this thread is to avoid using external image hosts such as Google Drive. If you really do want to use Google Drive, just get the regular link and follow my instructions above. But again, you generally would not want to do this. If you continue to have problems with it and need further help, please let me know why exactly you want to use it over this thread.
I have deleted many uploads, but as far as I can tell, you just do not have permission to view the levels. Although there is one interesting case where I deleted the album but the media itself isn't marked as deleted as well, but other levels are marked as both. I don't remember if I just manually deleted the other levels separately as well as the album.
