I hit the Google Play store today, looking for a Moog synthesiser app - something that will imitate the music from 60's & 70's music. I didn't find one, but what I did find is an app called EtherPad - it's kind of a synthesiser, as you can tap or drag your finger along to hit different notes. It's highly rated, free with no ads, and if there was a way to pay for it, I would... absolutely beautiful. Considering the fact that my musical tastes usually run to metal and hard rock (Alestorm, Powerwolf, AC/DC, Scorpions, and others), I am actually enjoying the heck out of this. Even if your total musical talent consists of playing an MP3, you can get some good sounds out of this. The only two drawbacks are that it doesn't save any settings, so when you exit the app it returns to the default settings, and there's no way to record any of your 'compositons'. But it is a lot of fun, and a good way to lose a lot of time.
