I have been unsuccessfully looking for techniques for locked mechanisms that are quiet and don’t clunk repeatedly. Specifically I’m looking for a way to make a stopped / locked rotor from banging against things. Stopping it against another slider or against solid ground still seems to make it clunky sounding. has anyone experimented with making stopped moving mechanisms quieter, either, rotors or sliders?
I found a bug in Mekorama - if a level has a noisy motor that keeps going, just pause the level - then it goes silent when you unpause it!
