Firstly I am truly sorry if this question has been answer elsewhere. Please provide the link as I dont find it so far. Until now I still dont understand how to use the scan QR function from image gallery in my device. Always prompt with "Scan Error, QR Code could not be read". Could someone teach me the correct way to use it? I have tried to crop the exact QR but still failed. Thank you for helping!
It's a good question - but easy once you know how : first, zoom in on the QR code and take a screenshot (this improves the quality of the QR code) ; then scan the screenshot
Hmmm, I still failed to do it.. I have done so many type of test but still failed: 1) Scan Original Image produced via shaing button in the apps - Failed 2) Zoom in the QR code from Original Image and take screenshot then do scanning- Failed 3) Crop the QR code with border then do scanning - Failed 4) Crop the QR code zoom with no border then do scanning - Failed
Maybe we're talking about different levels, so let's start with the same QR code. Which one in particular do you have problems with? I shall try my zoom-screenshot approach on that one, and we can explore where it goes wrong.
I have a Google Nexus 7 (2013), which I've had for 2 1/2 years now. If I run into a scan code error, what I do is enlarge the QR code so that it fills the entire screen, then take a screenshot. Using a file manager (I prefer Total Commander), move that screenshot to the download directory, and you're fine from there.
Yipiiii, now I got an idea of what to do on my iPad: 1. take a screenshot 2. use the scanbutton in mekorama and scan the screenshot which is found in fotos-app so easy, but till now I used to scan the QR-Code from my old desktop-computer-screen, and that didn't seem the most uptodate way of handle it ;-)
I'm glad it worked. Just remember, if you have any problems, to first "unpinch" to zoom in on the QR code before taking the screenshot. I've never had any scan problems since using this approach.
