If a bot is coming down steps it can walk over a pipe! But not if it goes back over the same path. I made a demo to show this effect. L bot can go over the pipe but only once. R bot going in the other direction can't go over the pipe at all. It doesn't matter if the pipe is between metal blocks or stone.
Yes, stepping down from a stair, R/L bots can step onto almost anything (except a sideways stair). This and many more unique R/L behaviors are included in this tutorial.
