I'm a designer too but like a real graphic designer. I love to design but the thing is sometimes because of adding tricks and stuffs things get messed up in your level or you'll end up creating an easy level due to keeping the design!
Rug Pulled Out (RPO) is simply a specific application of Autopilot where you send B to a metal block that moves by the time he gets there such that B falls to somewhere else instead.
In English, the idiom of "pulling the rug out from someone" means "to suddenly stop supporting someone". So at the point of the tap, the metal block was calculated to support B, but if you or a slider move it away and B falls instead, it's like he had the rug pulled out from under him.
The reason I say "a form of" is because exploiting the path completion algorithm (collectively known as Autopilot) has many variations such as the Hercules trick, the Run Around trick, the Rug Pulled Out trick, etc. Documentation of all this was started in the Advanced Level Design document: https://mekoramaforum.com/threads/everything-you-have-always-wanted-to-know-about-mekorama.287/#post-2497
Thanks for the publicity, @Master Author, but that tutorial was about promoting and publicising a trick that was not mine. I didn't know who discovered it, but there was resistance at the time to exploits that some called "cheats" .. and i started my tutorials to explain them and take the "voodoo" out of what we accept today as advanced techniques. None of which were discovered by me, i was just a promoter :p
It is preferred that if you want to share tips on how to play levels, that you start/continue an appropriate thread in the Level Play Help sub-forum where conversations and contributions by others can take place.
