@thedude Do you still need help with this level? I can't find any other activity by you or by the creator of this level: Gokhan C. I did, however, figure out how to solve the puzzle, although mostly by trial and error. It would seem that B is stuck inside the building and we have to match a pattern from the top bumps (grey cylinders) to the sliders on the side. Hint #1: Spoiler By looking down the corridor into the building, we can make out one of the sliders - the middle one closest to the stairs (which I'll call #4 if you count across and then down) should be in the "out" position so as to clear the corridor. Starting from this knowledge I played with different versions of the patterns from the top. Let me know if you want another hint! Okay, another hint: Spoiler I had to look at the top patterns from the perspective of the suction cup thing-y. And one more hint (as I doubt anyone will see this post): Spoiler Invert one of the patterns. Solution: Spoiler: Solution Leave sliders #2, #4, #5, #7, and #9 in the "out" positions, press the others in.(1, 3, 6, 8). In other words, slide in the the sliders corresponding to the grey cylinders sticking out in the bottom left pattern when looking from the opening perspective (sliders in for cylinders jutting out). If anyone knows what "UP" and "HIRT" were meant to imply, please let me know.
Thank you! I almost forget about this puzzle! I was trying to solve this , the same way but without invert the patterns..failed! Anyway, thank you for your time and help!!
@thedude Cool. Please, next time leave a tip (like "invert the patterns") in a spoiler. You can add one to a comment using the + icon in the edit menu (beside the camera icon). Thanks! If you want a really hard code to crack, try @Sabik's Code Crackers puzzle.
I believe that's "UP" and "HINT" ... drawing attention to the patterns on the top as tips. BTW - I'm not sure to what extent other folks experience the same software bug with rendering as I do (if you refresh a puzzle, using the middle icon after pausing: the puzzle is restarted but incompletely rendered - often revealing interesting information about the inner workings of a creation)... so here are some screenshots for the curious.
Thanks, that makes sense. Those incomplete renderings are wicked cool! No, my phone doesn't do that on a refresh. I'm kinda glad though because you can cheat quite easily on some levels like this one. I tried the refresh again on this particular level and still no rendering problem. Do you think you could do it for The Cliffs by @Mark69 ? He wanted to show me the inner workings. I love his work and would love to see the craftiness of his levels behind the scenes.
I'll give it a try and post results there. I'm running mekorama on a samsung galaxy note 4, Android 6.0.1 (the stylus is *very* helpful, as is the large screen).. Maybe it's just the right blend of hardware and software thatdisplays this handy quirk.
Cool. I'm running Mekorama on a Google (LG) Nexus 5, Android 6.0.1 (with my finger and a cracked screen ). You might be on to something with your theory...
