Hi friends! Mekostudio.com is out! After so many questions/requests on how to create levels using metal stairs, we worked tirelessly to give everyone the opportunity to use and play with them. But that's not all! Since the time that this QR Code reverse-engineering thread was written, some additional interesting new blocks have been discovered. Many are not stable, but it is possible to play with some through a level "customizer" that we have also built. And in case you wondered how some of the moderators managed to rotate a level, you can find out how do it by yourself now too. This is not yet a full-featured app (as work is still in progress), but it's a good starting point! Enjoy!
@QuantumForce I think I am not the only one who deserves to be thanks as... you have a great part in it. So thank YOU . And many more thanks could be said as moderators's feedbacks are always a way to improve the app. But that's just a beginning, right?
wow great job @Gepeto and @QuantumForce the customizer is very useful I don't have go through the stress of making a zapper floor before I can get a yellow R thanks a lot!
Excellent work lads! Already some interesting functions there that will no doubt stimulate the creativity of many of us here.
Oh...I tried it ... And it was really amazing work done as a need for many player's levels.. And I'm keenly waiting for the further functioning of the site... THANKS
Great job @Gepeto doing the Costumizer. Thanks to that I could make Petra look sandy (http://mekoramaforum.com/media/petra.8012). As an improvement of the application I propose to have wedges with desert effect.
@Jose Luis Galiano problem is that desert wedges are not stable. They look like wedges but behave as blocks. So that could lead to some misunderstanding. They could be useful for cosmetic stuff indeed, nothing more.
I should have updated this thread earlier as 2 days ago (the 15th of may) it was Mekorama's birthday! To celebrate this great date I have released the 3D Builder to everyone at mekostudio.com. Apart from some unstable blocks, everybody can now use the web application and explore or build a level from the inside (assuming you have a decent computer configuration). Enjoy!
Hi folks! I’m not really sure where to post this, so I’ll just leave it here. In case you haven’t noticed yet, I’ve added L-bot to the Mekostudio 3D builder. I can already hear what you’re thinking: “It’s about time!” Yeah… I’m considering refreshing the codebase with a more modern stack, just to make sure it can live longer than expected. But I’m not doing a full refactor just yet — just thinking about it for now. If you find any bugs (especially unusual ones), feel free to let me know!
