There are 5 tropheys: Take 1 like Take 25 likes Take 100 likes Take 250 likes Take 500 likes. If you take 25 likes you become a Member(from new Member),if you take 100 likes you become an Active Member. But what happens if you take 250 and 500 likes? Does a staff Member ( like Sunny Sunset ) know an answer?
I honestly have no idea. I can't find it listed anywhere. You can be our guinea pig if you'd like. On a separate note, I did not receive an email for having my name mentioned in the thread that I had not yet participated in. I did see a notification in my little flagged area, but I had to login to see it. Just an FYI for the notification crowd.
I'm sorry, I might end up disappointing you. As mentioned in my status update this week, I'm going to need to slow down my activity here. I piled up too much work and need to get back to it. Have fun!!
From what I have found, trophies of the mekorama forum are listed here. As the forum is powered by the XenForo platform, details should be found on there website, but I didn't interesting stuff... But from another website dedicated to the XenForo platform, here is some interesting details: The Ranks: New Member - The newcomers to the forums, this is the rank you get when you initially join. Member - The rank after New Member, the most common rank below active member. Active Member - The rank after Member, may take a short while to get, and this is what seems like the majority of the forums have. Well-Known Member - The highest of the members, may take a long while to get, this is the rank that the "popular" and active members have. Sectional Moderator - Same as moderators, but are more focused in a particular section. Moderator - This is granted to those who dedicate themselves to helping the forums. Administrator - Special title, Person who created the forums. How can you get a rank? New Member - Less than 5 trophy points. Member - 5+ trophy points. Active Member - 20+ trophy points. Well-Known Member - 48+ trophy points. Sectional Moderator - Be a helpful and nice member of the community and you just might earn this position ; specify in a certain sub-forum. Moderator - Be a helpful and nice member of the community and you just might earn this position. Administrator - N/A How do you get Trophy Points? First Message - +1 Trophy Point - Post a message somewhere on the site to receive this. Somebody Likes You - +2 Trophy Points - Somebody out there liked one of your messages. Keep posting like that for more! Keeps Coming Back - +5 Trophy Points - 30 messages posted. You must like it here! Can't Stop - +10 Trophy Points - You've posted 100 messages. I hope this took you more than a day! I Like It A Lot - +10 Trophy Points - Your messages have been liked 25 times. Seriously Likeable! - +15 Trophy Points - Content you have posted has attracted 100 likes. Addicted - +20 Trophy Points - 1000 messages? Impressive! Can't Get Enough Of Your Stuff - +20 Trophy Points - Your content has been liked 250 times. I LOVE IT! - +30 Trophy Points - Content you have posted has attracted 500 likes. I am not sure that everything fits to the Mekorama forum strategy but it seems quite the same. The administrator could change the default strategy but I don't think that's the case here.
I feel like we actually should encourage members to post more especially outside the Levels section. Most seem to only visit the forums for more levels but not for discussion, especially when the game has so much more to be discovered. I get that most of the time we share our ideas directly through our creations (as they express much more than what words could deliver), but there's also a seeming lack of discussion about the physics / mechanisms behind them. Most of the time we talk about them only when a card has showcased something new, but other than that we basically focus on the outcome of a design rather than the process itself
As some of you have noticed, I played around with the Trophy Points and Title Ladder this past week. I adjusted the: - "Addicted" trophy down from 1000 messages to 250, - Added the "One Level Created, ah, ah, ah" trophy, - Added the "Professional Level Creator" trophy, and - Added the "Famous Member" level to the top of the ladder. Here are the results: Please let me know if you have any comments or suggestions.
@nGord what about trophy for comments count? not many people come around to topic threads. as for me, very seldom to check threads. old posts might have many people hang around in every topic thread appeared backthen years ago. but nowdays, people tend to appear and socialize more in just one thread only which is nationally thread as i can see, indosia topic thread is pretty often visited. dont know about other country thread. as for new member and guests... they dont familiar with topic threads area and easier to see chats, talks, discussion at the level comment section
@Ray Aznable - I agree with you. Alas this is another one of those situations where the Xenforo forum software considered the Media Gallery (Levels section) a late add on to the main Forum section. Because of this, the Trophy points can't be set to respond to any number of comments; only pictures ("media" / levels) and albums are possible to count. Here is a screenshot of all the items that can be counted towards Trophy points:
... @nGord I see, so that is the format i dont see X comment count... also, 1. u are the one who write the algorithm for this forum then upload the code to xenforo or 2. this forum interface is already provided this way by xenforo since beginning? if its second case which applied do u know other forum website which also based on xenforo platform? i wanna see the similiarties between mekorama forum with other website sorry i ask u too much
@Ray Aznable - The second option is correct: The host of this website (@NeoCHI) bought a license to XenForo and used it for several game forums. Back in 2016, the highest version that XenForo got to was v1.5.10, which is the version we have. There are much newer versions nowadays. You can learn more about it here: https://xenforo.com/ Unfortunately finding another site that still uses v1.5.10 would be hard to find I suspect.
Comparing against Gepeto's post above (#7), it looks like I did. One now needs 1000 "likes" to achieve "I LOVE IT" (rather than 500 likes, which seemed too low).
