Thanks to @gmacpro, @delator77, @Block builder for playing, rating and commenting previous versions This time everything is okay. Spoiler: Hints Spoiler: Tricks Claustrophobia Elevated eye Spoiler: General hint B can ride on R Spoiler: Details Find a spot where you can place B on R's head and just watch and play
The level as an appealing intricacy. However it mixes clean tricks and logic with some momentum tricks and momentum shortcuts. Spoiler The slider that is used to push B may push him on the upper floors, making the backpassage that you have to close at some point not needed at all. In fact, later in the solution when R is already on the upper floors, I saw no other way to get B up since the back passage needed to be closed to open up the passage on the top floor. Rather than pushing B and hoping for the best, I used a parallel weird trick. I put B on the vertical slider from which you could push him, tap the grass block in front, quickly drag down, and tap the stairs around the corner. Similarly, when R is at the back, B needs to guide R over the two stairs. I saw no clean way, so instead I pushed B standing on the ball with the lift, so B got on one of those stairs. Finally, I haven't tested this, but I think you can still do the final bit with B alone using two springoard stairs. These steps just felt awkward in an otherwise nice level.
Umm, @Block builder Spoiler I used only claustrophobia trick others weird inertia and momentum tricks are not intended. If you want hints I am ready to answer.
@Br0K3N - According to your post above you used only one trick - right? How is R released and forced to turn right in the bottom corner? Wouldn't that be a trick as well called Spoiler elevated eye?
@gmacpro Oh, for me it's more like just a fact, rather than trick, so I didn't mention it. By the way, isn't it obvious it's needed? And please edit comment under spoiler? Thanks.
@Br0K3N - Spoiler Elevated eye isn't obvious as I wondered why you had that slider there for sometime.
@gmacpro For you isn't, for me yes. At least when you come to this part of gameplay you can easily decode this.
I found this a strange level. Think i can see all the moves but cant link them all together to get a clean win. Resorted to the same move as @Block builder to get B back up.
@ridgerunner this is not intended Spoiler: Special hint You need to use R to get B from the roof to the balcony.
Ok, so... Spoiler I now used autopilot to mount R. Guess you could do it without autopilot by just sliding, but I think B easily ends up on the stairs then. Late in the solution I pushed B on R on the upper floor. It didn't go very well and B fell around the corner on the stairs. No problem then. I still don't get the hole red brick R freeze part. It's easy to prevent R from freezin at all by blocking him.
@Block builder Spoiler First move can be done by fast sliding, so B won't end up on stairs, stairs were optimal solution to sliding push and ball rolling. Didn't have this problem while testing, but seems this move is not 100% stable. It was made to make player be patient and careful with details, because if player will rush he'll fall in a trap, and he won't be able to unfreeze R because he won't have a way inside of the house. Hope I answered. Thanks for playing!
