No tricks. Stars only level. Mechanism inspired by the level Shuffle Bots by @Pratik Bhalerao. You can see the video walkthrough in the Caption tab.
Not sure if i am doing something wrong or there is a problem with the budgeable on my device. Twice when B is in place to push the budgeable , it has not moved and B has got wedged above the rounded block.
Vely clever design and mechanism ! Thank you You have to make a few mistakes to understand the whole thing : excellent gameplay !
@ridgerunner Hmm. You're on the right track. The budgeable is supposed to move. Not sure about B getting wedged above the rounded block, I never experienced that kind of behavior during my playtests. There's a partial video walkthrough in the caption tab that you can watch. I hope that helps.
@ridgerunner Here, you can try this. I replaced the budgeable top rounded blocks with squared ones. Maybe this one works for you.
Thanks for the edited level. I had no problems with it. Two of the balls had the same strange path that took some trial and error to discover and was clever.
@Logo I tried original card first... I faced issue with Locking and Pushing. When I tried Card in comment, it went good. But at the last I lost the ball due to wrong timing, because my slider didn't got released on time. You could have used Metal Half Pillar instead of Draggable Pillar. You could have used Wedges here to see the area under that. And half game was same. I didn't not win. Sorry couldn't rate. But that was good one!
@Pratik Bhalerao Now that I know both you and @ridgerunner faced that issue, I bet some other players may have also faced it, and that's really unfortunate and disappointing to know because I could've avoided this little flaw if it happened at least once in my playtests but it never did. In my playtests the budgeables just always went smoothly and I tested this level a LOT of times. I tried it and it's not good and stable. When you push the slider down and the half pillar hits the edges, sometimes it gets stuck and doesn't push all the way down, like only 60%. And it will stay stuck like that until you pull the slider hard back up. And due to that sometimes the engine will stop moving while released. It's frustrating. Also the game gets noisy and somewhat laggy. That would merely remove the trial-and-error logic mechanic I wanted to implement in the ball-pushing gameplay part because it would be too obvious. Spoiler I want the second pair of balls to not have the same pushing order as the first pair of balls, and that's clever. But if it's too obvious, then it kinda removes the cleverness if you know what I mean. I want the players to have the "I should've/should've not" reaction and discover and learn something after doing a mistake so that they won't do the mistake again and move on until they succeed. Anyways, thanks for giving it a try and the feedback!
