Vintage Bridge

I did it! This time making sure the gate didn't rise up until I was ready. It's a joy to see it go up!

Another excellent design - I love the curved roof on the bridge. Of course it can only be a five star rating.

Which came first, the design (architecture) or the idea for the game play?

With my levels I often start with random blocks and see if an idea comes to light. Or I'll have a rough idea based on something, like my potato waffles level. Very rarely I will design a whole building and then try to fit a game around it.

@Chris Hester It happens differently. Sometimes I come up with an interesting move or trick or effect - in this case, the gameplay comes first and then the design. But almost all of my stylized levels or levels with beautiful designs - on all these levels I do the design first and then add the gameplay. This level too - first the design, then the gameplay.

Beautiful level! A mixture of classic midieval castle and Venice. When the level is beautiful, I really enjoy getting B everywhere as part of a logic stream.

@Block builder Yes, I absolutely agree with you. This is exactly how this level was conceived, so that the player would walk around different locations of the level and just enjoy. I'm glad you liked it.
