Welcome to the forum @Kaycal! I haven't seen your first level yet, but this one is quite nicely done for a near first submission. It's attractive and fairly reliable. I say fairly as there is one ball in particular that B needs to be careful in approaching lest he knock it off sideways and away from the hole intended. The level would almost be a contender for a "for kids" or one of the original series of levels. Thanks for the play!
@nGord I agree with the "for kids" idea, the level was made to be easy and enjoyable because sometimes B needs a break from flying into the sky, drowning and getting crushed by sliders.
I found the balls annoying because they required a lot of care to push straight. Some kind of block on either side of the ball would have alleviated this, although it might have made it harder to see. I liked the maze though, it was well constructed and enjoyable.
Well done. Not difficult but has a few pleasant surprises. I can see where some balls might fall astray, but in my opinion that has as much to do with player impatience as it does your design choices.
@HackedUp To be honest I'm not starting to make levels, I'm starting to post them. I started playing mekorama probably a year ago but I've just come back to the game and my experience is really helpful with level design.
I really liked that. It was extremely satisfying and I really enjoy the simple levels. I think it is good without the ball blockers because it makes some presence of mind a requirement.
For whatever reason, I never saw this one until it was featured on the Mekorama page... it's a fun little level.
Ditto to @nGord 's comment -- nice concept, attractive, and a great "for kids" candidate. One easy strategy for approaching this: Spoiler look at the win block and work backwards, figuring out what balls you need when
