Tree Patrol

Patrolling the giant heritage tree at the national park is tough business for B, especially when dealing with the mean tasing Zap. And yet, B will need the dangerous bot's help after all.

The tree looks like Valentina (medusa-like enemy of Darna)

      I'll give it a try.

      fun fact,
      the devils tower in wyoming
was actually a giant petrified ancient tree

@P_simorf I didnt think of that. I can't unsee Medusa in that tree now. Haha

@mothproof - Are tricks required and if so, which?
    • Meko Guy
@mothproof - I believe I got the game play down and no tricks were required - some good timing but the last move wasn't very stable for me?
Z can win by walking over P to the win but P isn't frozen and therefore Z isn't stable at the win. Close or not even close?

Sorry - B did need one trick - a tap and miss (auto pilot)

Superficially looks as if it will be an easy B win but i won with Z.

@Meko Guy Just one trick, although that's hardly a trick since we all at one time or another accidentally commit that misstep where we try to mount P and fail. Was gonna make a level with no tricks whatsoever but, well, inevitably Ive had to include one.

@Meko Guy In my 30 + (lol) playtest, Z spun around on that last move only once. The ovehead motor kept him stable early on, so he was pretty ok by the end. I was surprised he spun that one time.

@mothproof - I retried the ending by setting up the last ¼ of the level and after 5 attempts, Z spun every time. The only way that I could win was with B dying and that caused P to bend over and then Z eventually walked over the win albeit sideways. I am surprised that you used that ending move after the discussion on your last level and that the lower bot must be frozen  otherwise, the upper may not get off (even if the height was right).

@Meko Guy I had another go at the level just now. No spinning. Maybe my Z is better at keeping still. Lol.

@mothproof - I see two issues at the end.
      1. How are you freezing P so Z doesn't become unstable?
      and
      2. Even if P is frozen, Z doesn't like getting off P (including a PillarB) at the same height, R's want to climb up one level if on a P.

Check out this demo of the right height, you'll note that R climbs and therefore will not get to the win unless B squats....
