: Previously I got plan to do a puzzle with this technique. But then I canceled due to not stable. It's easy to climb up. Meanwhile it's easy to fall down too while walking on long moving blocks. But please keep this feature on. It's very cool on puzzle design which increase difficulty. Game developer can include a build-in mission which introduce this feature. I realized some bugs too and hope developer can fix it: > Movable block will go thru wall / outside of axis if swipe too fast. > Red bot can't stand on yellow bot with platform stably. > Red bot act weird if their initial position is not grid perfect. > Rotary block can pass thru another bronze block if it's based on it. > Yellow bot will keep running randomly under 2 blocks height ceiling until it see the sky.
I've used this technique before in a rather evil way: http://mekoramaforum.com/media/the-sacrifice-v2.1066/ In my own lingo I've been calling this a "focus lift" for a while now. A "focus drop" is also possible.
@Akira Wong ... Yes, this kind of exploit can add a lot of value, so I hope it doesn't get "fixed". You mentioned some other interesting quirks - do you have minimal examples to illustrate them?
I have not received a single notification of any of these posts. I wonder if the notification system is broken? I haven't seen any notifications for days, on levels I have posted on, other than seeing likes. Has anyone else noticed if they aren't getting notified of messages posted after their posts in these levels?
@retrograde ... I like your names for this. I must try a "focus drop", sounds interesting! But what would you call the bizarre focus shift that leads to "propeller head" (also in my bugs album)? In that one, based on work by richardfu, the focus stays the same, but the yellow bot changes position; and then it acquires some weird inter-dimensional powers. Check it out
: @Sunny Sunset So do I. Sometimes I didn't receive notification when people mention me but other works fine. I double checked my settings and all notifications are turned on. Strange.
Found this one in your Album after inhaled your Tutorial 1. It works, I could use my new knowledge and made it in first try for that to not disturb freedom in this forum I will not rate it official, but give you here ***** out if my heart
