So I did not plan on entering the metal challenge, but it inspired me to the idea of "The Thing" and then the whole level just evolved around it. I think most fun can be had if you do read the following hint, otherwise you might try things that work less smooth and frustrate. Spoiler: Hints on timing for smooth operation The first turn machine can be raised. Raise it right at the moment that "The Thing" is above horizontally (and with a gap downwards for the lift to move in). "The Thing" does not have to be flat on the ground, it may be a bit up from rotating. Move the lift with reasonable, but not high speed. The next lift brings "The Thing" to the second turn machine. Touch the lift as least as possible, you'll just make "The Thing" turn slightly (similar to effect on balls and bots). It's important to have "The Thing" straight when moving it up the second turn machine, preferably by having a corner of "The Thing" turn in between the guide bars of the turn machine, after which you completely raise the lift. Enjoy the remainder, it's mostly automatic. And there is a movie! Spoiler: Movie
Really a creative mechanism. Nice design, the level would be perfect if the first part is a bit more easy to control and if you add a grass stratum.
First part = first turn, or the lift? I find the lift slightly annoying myself. The turn is just a matter of timing, but not difficult to execute with right timing. Grass is no metal. I actually wanted to add water, but with only metal in the level.... Let's just say I felt stupid.
The thing: a perfectly assembled gear .... Jajaja, fun skill level .... uuuhhhm, and not so easy ... @Block builder I love the variety of genres of your levels ... you are very versatile....THANKS
