Spoiler: Rules: The amount of metal cylinders that raise = the amount of mines next to it. If a flag raises up, the chosen square is a mine, and the level cannot be beaten unless the level is reset. To play, rotate the motors toward the stone block and the square will raise up along with the cylinders, once finished pull the drag lever on the side towards the green side and wait
Excellent . Clues about placement of mines worked perfectly. The sliders/rotators were a bit grabby, but understandable given the pressure on them and it didn't detract too much from the game. Spoiler being able to see the stars pop up through the doorways gave an opportunity to cheat, it would be better if they were obscured Great concept. Good game. Nice interpretation and execution. Thx
Very bad at this game so I did it by trial and error (sorry ) I must say, your version of Minesweeper is much more faithful to the real game than my version and the mechanism worked great most of the time. Well done!
In contrast to @ArGee's view, I think it's good that you have left some viewing space for players so they know whether they have got the correct answer by.. Spoiler observing whether R(s) will turn back In your first unpublished version, players have to wait for a long time to win without knowing R's path even if they have got the correct answer, which may lead to unnecessary confusion, so imo having viewing space is more user-friendly
Great implementation of mine sweeper. It's a bit difficult to see with all the metal, but it's only a 4x4 field.
Using paper and pen, I finally solved it! Very fun! And after I solved the level, an ad about Minesweeper immediately popped up...
I also cheated a bit cause I uesd trial & error (this time I had not patience to take a pen & a paper...my mistake )but I can see the effort to do such a good level so 5 stars for you... the idea of the flags to tell you "game over" is really nice & original... thanks for sharing @Kyriegabas
