You need the code revealed at the end of Rick Dangerous level 1 to begin this level If needed, the code is given in the spoilers of the first comment. At the end you will reveal a code at the back of the level. This code will give you the access to the level 3. Spoiler: What is the code to level 3 ? It is given by the metal pillars position: down, down, up, down, up, up
What can I say? The 1st was awesome, this one is on the same line. The ambiance of Egypt is really well rendered. I didn't have to figure the code out as I found it by chance Thanks a lot for this series!
Nice ability level with a perfect balance between difficulty and enjoyment (most others are too difficult and end up being annoying ). The variety of mechanisms throughout the level made it fun to play from the start till the end.

@CoryBabble I'm glad you ask ! This is a proximity sensor (an eye on a motor on another motor). His behaviour is quite difficult to predict but there are some stable patterns. You can find more about it in the forum
