Thank you @delator77 for pointing out the shortcut! I updated it now without shortcut.

The first edition shortcut was very obvious and although i never usually use a ... it cries out to be tried here out of curiosity and again produces a shortcut win. The designed win is ok.

@ridgerunner Whoops. How did you do it? Might need to figure it out to avoid doing for future levels.

Edit: Oh nvm, my bad. You said it's the first edition.

I dropped stars for 2 reasons, the ball drop and the overall size of the level. The size could have been much smaller. As for the ball, you used a fence as the level was very simple and you were trying to increase the difficulty. Speaking of difficulty, you have eliminated all the players who don't know the trick used. Assuming the ball fell on first push attempt, 5 taps and the game is over.

I kept using the half circular metal block for dropping balls so I decided to change it with fence this time. I didn't know fence would add more difficulty because of its difference. So, lesson learnt! ;)

About overall size, I kind of like making landscape for levels even though they seem unnecessary because I'm into art. I don't know if it really matters for rating but you do what you do.

@punctdan - As for the size thing, it's more about the zooming / panning factors for me. Since I'm not using a tablet or phone but an emulator for my Windows PC and therefore I'm using a mouse versus my finger or two, zooming isn't done with a quick pinch but either pressing F2 or scrolling the center mouse wheel. Both of these functions takes 20 seconds to go fully in or fully out and after zoomed in, panning doesn't work like on the tablet or phone so it's zoom in, pan, zoom in, pan you see my point. I prefer to use my PC as I have a 27" monitor or my 10" tablet but that comes at a cost. Put it this way, when I see a 16 x 16 x 16 level, I do consider just skipping it all together.... As for the ball and fence, if you don't use a rounded corner drop off for the ball and B leaves the spot where the ball starts to fall, it's a good chance that the ball will stick and then B can't drop it at all. There are a few exceptions but for the most part, a rounded pillar or half pillar is the most stable ball dropper.

@gmacpro I see your point. But having to use an emulator instead of a compatible device the game was intended to be played in is not a fair factor to consider for rating a level in my opinion. Because it's the device's fault that it made the level harder to progress, not the level designer's. Take it like this: Assume that your device is old and only processed fast in apps requiring no graphical effects. So if the device got frequent lag during playing a game with high quality graphics, it is not the game maker's problem that the game was slowed down, it is your device's again.

As for ball drop, I will definitely avoid using fences and keep it with pillars.

@punctdan - Fair point on game size and dropping a star - very good point and thanks for raising that....

I reconsidered my rating and since only 5 taps were required to win, I left my rating as such.

Ja, ja, ja... you got me for a while thinking, what??? But at the end it was an original timing level.
      Thanks for sharing!
