This is a level using five cards. Each door leads to a compass direction with a short and easy level to enjoy after solving this one! Spoiler: Extra levels to enjoy Spoiler: North Spoiler: East Spoiler: West Spoiler: South Lastly here is a video solution for the main level: Spoiler: Video solution
Good idea, great main card design and relaxing gameplay on the side cards. All this generally creates a good mood. Thank you, 5 from me too. I think it wouldn’t be amiss to indicate the author who came up with the idea of traveling using cards : @Valentin Spoiler http://mekoramaforum.com/media/spell-book.30659/ . This is indeed a very interesting and innovative idea. I liked that your journey can be completed quickly enough without fatigue. Thank you!
Hey hey hey ! You made a multi-level level !!! You know what ? I think it is a very good idea ... The compass-levels were easy and therefore, relaxing. Thanks. Spoiler: TIP If you want to include cards that are directly clickable and playable in your first comment, you can use this pattern : [ SPOILER="name of SPOILER" ][ URL='https://play.mekorama.com/?u= LINK TO THE CARD ON A PICTURE WEBSITE SUCH AS IMGUR'][ IMG]LINK TO THE CARD ON A PICTURE WEBSITE SUCH AS IMGUR(the same link)[ /IMG][ /URL][ /SPOILER] By example : [ SPOILER="NORTH"][ URL='https://play.mekorama.com/?u=https://i.imgur.com/vZ6zTnZ.png'][ IMG]https://i.imgur.com/vZ6zTnZ.png[ /IMG][ /URL][ /SPOILER] In those patterns I added 1 space (" ") inside every [], at the beginning, so that you can actually read it. You will have to suppress these spaces for it works. It would give this : Spoiler: NORTH (I uploaded your "north" card on my Imgur to provide this example)
I endorse comments by other reviewers regarding the design and overall playability. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you @Valentin for your very useful tip regarding clickable cards. It is possible to use the Sandbox facility in Mekorama as a substitute for Imgur or other image hosting sites. I did this recently in my Bunker level for cheat cards but only via a clickable URL link. Your solution is so much more elegant. Ever since the Photobucket debacle which destroyed boards worldwide and lost me a lot of material I've developed a paranoia regarding sites providing hot linking.
@MekoMole At the time of SpellBook, I didn’t want to use the Sandbox on the forum because I wanted to offer something new and unseen. But actually it is a good idea. Actually, @cimarronline did a huge job and copied back every file of the level here on the forum, via attached file. I didn’t know about Photobucket but it is true anything can happen … (bankruptcy, war, asteroid…)
Really like the architecture of the first level and the various methods for B to get around. Of the directional levels, the north was the toughest for me to win quickly! Thanks for the fun!
