Some tricks in a small and nice level. Finish the level without dying.

Anomynous and chemi like this.

This level employed quirks of the environment (bugs?), which I am not a big fan of, but in this case I tolerated them and applaud your design for them. There was a bit of randomness to how the ball fell, but it also was manageable. Thanks for the creation!
    • meko
You consider the overcoming of electric discharge as a big surprise, not as a "bug", otherwise there were no other bugs. The part of the ball also had to be reasoned
    • meko
And thanks for the compliments on the design:)

Is not valid falling on goal with the discharge of the robot, I noticed only now, search another way to win. You have to finish the level without dying.

@meko The bug I'm talking about is in this spoiler:
My idea of a bug: I think that it is a bug to be able to walk across the rear opening of the top of the castle when the electric bot has already passed or otherwise does not zap B. How else is it possible to get B over to the top slider?

Zapping of B to win: This I find quite acceptable. To win we need to have something/anything trigger the end button, which in my opinion should include an electrocuted B. I do NOT consider this to be a bug.

I figured out how to solve it without killing B, but the level itself utilizes a couple tricks that could be rather random.

e.g. Pushing the ball into the right spot / jumping over the zapper bot at the right timing / pushing B onto the final spot using the slider.

Overall it's a clever design, just not for everyone. :)

@cpw no,is not the right way
      drag the win

Finally finished in the intended fashion, but I'm with @cpw, this level may not be for everyone.
      1. So originally I didn't see a way on how to drag the end button (which you called the "win"). Finally, I was able to move it. It's a bit glitchy for some reason.
      2. Since one can solve the level by killing B, I would consider this a shortcut.
      3. I also stand by the concept of being able to walk over an electric bot as a bug.
Still, I had fun figuring it out - thanks!
    • meko
thanks for opinion, originally i haven't thought at that shortcut]

@zoidberg73 I would be happy to help.

Please do hide any notes relating to level completion in a spoiler like this one. You can create a spoiler block by clicking on the + sign left of the camera icon in the comment edit menu. Thanks.

One can also reply to multiple users in one message by typing the '@' symbol and then their username. A pop-up of related usernames will come up from which you can choose the appropriate one.

Oh, and if you forgot to add someone to a message, you can also go back and edit previous messages using the edit link below the message and then add them that way.

So... Here is probably the step (answer/trick) you're looking for:
One can make B fall by sending him to a spot on a slider and then moving the slider so that it is no longer in that three-dimensional spot. Since B only knows to go to that spot in the game environment, and you've moved it out of play, B will do his best to get to it: falling because of gravity if that is the case in the vertical plane, while continuing in the direction of that spot in the horizontal plane. This is considered an acceptable exploit of the game environment by many. More can be found in the forum posts in the message thread entitled "Bugs? What are they?".

As I'm not sure from your description where you need a hint, Here is the next one in sequence from my last post:
I hesitate to call this an exploit as it seems both more intuitive and natural in the game environment. Just in case, let it be known that objects that naturally move such as bots and balls can be moved by sliders (or pieces connected to the sliders). A soft bump from the slider may merely push them, while a fast bump can send them flying.
In this level by Meko, one must bump B just enough to send him over three spaces and up one space using the top slider. I recommend you start out bumping B softly - he can always walk back against the slider if you don't get him far enough.

Here is the full step-by-step solution for anyone that needs:
      1. Have B step onto the head of R as he passes,
      2. Have B step off onto the platform after rounding the corner,
      3. Have B bump into the ball such that it falls into the hole (note this can be tricky but there is a consistent way to make it happen. Ask for another hint if needed.),
      4. Have B ride the elevator up (i.e. walk him to the vertical slider and slide it up),
      5. Have B hide in the corner of the top room so as not to get electrocuted (note the requirement of B being two spaces away),
      6. Have B sneak past the electric bot and then up the stairs and over the opening in the wall by the elevator (note: having him cross this opening is considered an exploit of passing over objects in motion),
      7. Have B fall beside the horizontal slider (using the falling exploit described in a post above),
      8. Slide the horizontal slider against B such that he lands on the grey block nearest the end button (note: see previous post on projectiles and bumping B for more help),
      9. Slide the hidden slider below the end button up to raise the end button flush with the grey block that B is now on (note: trust me that there is a slider although there is no way to see it),
      10. Walk B to the end button,
      11. Celebrate! :D

@nGord Do you still think that walking on zap is a bug ?
