Thanks for this nice sequel to a famous puzzle! Spoiler: 1° part the ball is a red herring, right? Cos it leads to a shocking end.. Spoiler: 3° part I can't find any stone pillar that responds a tap in any meaningful way
Before I rate it...... Spoiler I descended onto the white background, then pushed the ball in the opposite direction, and climbed onto the ball at the moment it falls onto the grass. Then I continued to do what you described in the second spoiler......
There's a more straightforward solution with the Tripping on Air trick (with some retries to fall onto the right spot), though I don't think it's intended since @meko doesn't like that trick at all.

Spoiler: 3rd part i won here, but it was only the first time, and it must've been by accident cos i can't do it again... I tapped on the metal half cylinder, and quickly replaced it with the draggable. As B was struggling to climb onto the draggable, i moved it out of the way again, and he stumbled across onto the stairs. But since then, he gets stuck on top of the draggable! And all i can trick him into doing is to either: drop back off on the side of the metal half pillar opposite the stairs; or behind the draggable into the water. ? Spoiler The ball climb is a new one to me - very cute!
