Welcome to the forum friend Well done first level. Nice mechanics, and challenging gameplay. Bit confused at first, I thought something was wrong with design. But u proved me wrong. Looking forward to your next levels. Btw the last move is quite luck, but that's ok, I have passed the level. Challenging and interesting
Hi & welcome... Very promising first level... I love skill levels & this was fun to play... the most difficult step for me was the last, to get B in the hole... thanks for sharing @Toast
glad you liked it, i did a lot of messing with physics before making any actual levels (this is the first)
Welcome to the forum! Very cool first level. At first (level start) I also thought that a BB trick was needed. But! No tricks needed! Very cool start. Well done. I liked everything. Very good horizontal push throw - very stable! But there is one problem for me - the very last move. It was very difficult for me to get into the hole. It took me about 8 tries. B always grabs the slider or grass and bounces to the side. The final fall is very difficult to do. I almost gave up and wanted to BB trick instead of you falling (it's easier to BB at this level). I decided to try one last time - and I succeeded. Therefore, I finished as you planned. Very cool first level, 5 from me too!
@Toast I really like your first level. That's why I wanted to give you advice. In order to make the fall of B very stable - use "pair blocks"!!! If there is an "unpaired block" - it will definitely bounce to the side, a bot or ball, when falling, will most likely cling to an unpaired block - and very very often bounce to the side (to the side), deviate from its direct trajectory !!! If you put another paired block in front of an unpaired block - this gives VERY more stability !! This applies not only to bots, but also to balls and other free elements. Therefore, I think that this information will be useful to you (and other newcomers!!) in the future. Spoiler: Foto Demo
@Toast two symmetrically located blocks on both sides of the main tunnel through which the bot or ball should fall. The photo clearly shows this. I specifically marked the paired blocks with arrows.
Very good first level! Cool ideas and you must do a full loop of the level before completion. There are autopilot shortcuts but that is fine for a first level. Thanks for sharing @Toast
I agree with all the comments so far. Great for a first level! Tried the intended way for win, ended up doing BB. Good job.
