This was quite fun, after spending far too long wondering how to get started. My first success was through a shortcut which happened by accident, but I tried again, and found the intended method. Spoiler My shortcut involved sinking just three of the five single balls. Is this the right place to describe it (assuming anyone's interested)?
@ridgerunner, @delator77, @Neophyte, @Denis Nazin, thankyou all very much for P, C and R! I'm glad you all had fun. @Neophyte, I am not sure if there is any 'right' place to describe a shortcut, but if you want to I'm more than happy if you post it here. (Although, depending on how replicatable the shortcut is, I may or may not upload a newer version without the shortcut.) Thankyou all for playing!
@Karen 2.0 It's easy to reproduce, but I can't see an easy fix. Spoiler Bump the ball which is adjacent to the brick wall, then trap R in the front corner by the underwater hole. If B then bumps the ball which is three blocks away from R, the ball will bounce off R and roll along the front wall into the hole which is a knight's move from the win block, completing the path.
@Neophyte, ah yes, I get it. Nice shortcut! I have found a way to stop the shortcut that does not affect the intended gameplay in any way. Instead of reuploading, since four people have already commented and rated, I was wondering if it is possible to post a revised card in the comments of this one. @cimarronline, I was wondering if you could show me which button I need to use to put a card in a level comments section? This would help if you could. Thanks
Here is the updated card without the shortcut. Intended gameplay is exactly the same. Thanks @Neophyte for finding the shortcut and @cimarronline for showing me how to post a card in level comments.
Awesome level and really like the use of the underwater tunnel. Interesting figuring out all the ball drops as they went to unexpected places!
Ah so, I see...sure, I see the similarities to the original, only much more complicated & more fun. The start took the longest to figure & I suck at herding, but njoyed it.
Thanks @MomoKeego, I appreciate people taking the time to provide feedback on old levels. Having quite the creative dry spell with Mekorama right now...
