Spoiler: Just wait.... If the win block is stuck after pushing the ball, just wait a while. The mechanism gets stuck a little sometimes.
Okay I spent long enough on the 1st part. Need a hint? Spoiler - I can springboard stairs (SBS) off B's starting position and land safely but then B can't get past the inset stairs. - I've tried to SBS and slide the fence over to hold/catch B but that doesn't work either. - I got the latter once or twice but it's not too stable.
@gmacpro You're on the right track. Spoiler There is a weaker variant of springboard stairs. Tap beyond the stairs as soon as B steps on the stairs (but when his body is still relatively low). So this is a 1-tap variant.
@gmacpro as BB said, you're on the right track. Spoiler Avoid gaining momentum by doing the jump right before the stairs. Spoiler
@ Block builder and @Chuckthulhu - 1st thanks. I told my wife that if the tap and slide is the way, I'll delete it as it wasn't stable for me but since you guys have added value (momentum and one tap), I'll give it another go tomorrow.
Great level. Very interesting, unusual start and nice puzzle getting the timing right to interrupt pillarbot's progress. Spoiler: Another way to move Pbot managed to squeeze and turn pillarbot 90degrees onto nonmovable draggable so goes direct to finishing slider
@Block builder ....not sure i understand this. "Tap beyond the stairs". Spoiler I placed zapperbot, stationary, below the step then did a normal sprinboardstairs move and quickly slid the slider over to catch B and nudge zapperbot out of zap range."tap beyond the stairs" do you mean the grass where i had zapperbot standing? I tried a few times but failed.
@ridgerunner Spoiler By that I mean tapping the stationary zapperbot (in this case, could be another blocktype but that side of the stairs).
@Block builder .. OK. I think ive mastered the soft springboard step move. Must try to remember it for future use. Thanks.
Okay - where do I start? Just kidding... That first move took 8 tries the 1st time and 14 times the 2nd. I lucked in on the rest and got the timing down the 1st try. Thanks
