The gameplay is excellent, at first I did not know that I needed to kill B, but then I figured out how to collect the last star without B.

Because when you need to make the last turn Z on the internal motor - it definitely passes B. I thought that if B dies anyway, then let it be for the benefit of the gameplay. Thus a star appeared for B.
