I gave it a go and it all depends on luck. After 5 failed attempts where B just made it half way on the 1st leg, then B was spot on and crossed each waterway in quick time but failed to get to the last slider before it moved on. Gave it a few more attempts and B didn't get lucky any more on the 1st leg.
