I can't solve it as a normal puzzle, but I can solve it by using some tricks to climb a level higher. Is this intended?
Well, it is not intended, it's actually solvable if you stay on the bottom level. Spoiler Walk to the right on the first half by two sides, and go to the middle lines' left spot. Then turn the first half right one more side, and cross to the right spot of the middle line. Then step on the second half (basic position) and walk right one side. Go to the grass platform which is after the whole cube, and turn the second half back one side - step on the win block I guess that the 2-4 difficulty was a bit of an underestimate :/ It's hard to judge since I'm the creator of the maze.
