I gave up at the 1:50 mark as the ball was unstable and spun just like in your video (still spinning at 3:00) but on both attempts, my ball was spinning more and P was too unstable to continue due to poor design. A simple wedge under the ball would have been so easy to have a stable level.

The video solution appears even easier than mine and I was luckier with the balls. Very enjoyable puzzle!
