3-10-4

Did you ever wonder how can a blind R Bot walk? Well... He's got in fact a simple algorithm and maybe not what you're expecting. Going to a win spot seems easy first and is possible but... you should try before rejoicing :)

@Getepo i did count the pattern of movement of R bots and it matches exactly with yours(.i.e.3-10-4) on grass and stone blocks....i will be doing some more experiments and i will inform you if any thing new comes out....btw do you know that a headless B bot also gets affected by these ether blocks??...to observe it the timing needs to be perfect...the B bot doesnot change direction but just stops in front of these ether blocks if the timing is perfect

And yes another fact i forgot to mention...everytime it is blocked by an obstracle the R bot turns right and the pattern begins from 3 again
    • Gepeto
@Scare Crow I didn't found that the pattern came everytime to 3 on a turn.
Here is a testing level I have made (but I am short on time for now). I made it to test the behavior of R on the 10 steps path (initialy). The red bricks are the place where R turns depending on the step you block it (for step 3 and 8, the next should be 10 but the word is to large to place them...).
What's strange is that if you block R with a fixed block (not slidered like here) the pattern change on some steps...

HURRAH!!!! @Getepo......i have deciphered all the primary Resistance and movement possibilities and it remains valid for even the movable resistances including the B bot, sliders and motors..... As long as they just block the bot and donot push it to some other place(in which case the pattern changes)
    • Scare Crow
@Getepo I have experimented it in the above base(your base) too and they still remain valid
    • Gepeto
@Scare Crow That's a good news! Do you plan to share your conclusions? :D
    • Scare Crow
      @Getepo Indeed.....but shall i post a hand written image
    • Gepeto
Hand written? You meant you worked with papers? :p Just kidding :p If you feel comfortable with that (and it's readable), feel free to do as you want ;)
Maybe I will open a forum thread later about that as suggested in your level...
    • Scare Crow
Ooh man.....now i dont knoq how to post an image here....can you please tell me that??
    • Scare Crow
      [IMG]@Gepeto ooook its done
I have added the image to the tutorials thread
    • Scare Crow
See that image and after checking for any faults if its alright please reply me
    • Gepeto
Your image doesn't show up here but no problem in the forum. I use imgur.com and choose the png picture format to share images in comments (everybody faces this question one day or another in here ;))
I really think we should open a special thread about this in the forum... Just I can't do that for now :(
    • meko
[IMG] if he can't continue the sequence,he will walk randomly. therefore there isn't a real sequence for the robot
    • Gepeto
@meko Thanks! I am writting a special thread in the forum about that. From what I see, you've got a 2/13 then 10/4/3 sequence. That's something intriguing... When we block with a draggable/slidered block it is not the same result then with a fixed (a hole, brick or stone) block.
