Hi all! This level requires no weird exploits or chance. You solve it 99 out of a 100 times with 4 (four) taps (actually 5, since I changed the level later on :*)). There are a few caveats however (that seldom happen): 1) If a rolling ball prematurely stops, or gets off course, just restart the level (happens almost never, but might happen). 2) If you go through One Way the right direction, and it pushes you off, sorry... will have to start over . Happens maybe 1 in 10 times?
Four taps or not, I expect the level to be too difficult for those who "have no time" to really investigate the level. For those here are a few quick hints, try to use as little hints as possible please Spoiler: HINT 1 The level contains no sliders, or anything else you need that isn't in plain sight. No need to search for secret stuff you missed thus. Spoiler: HINT 2 You need to solve this level by making use of TEMPORARY paths; paths that only exist because a ball is still rolling. Even though the ball continues rolling, B will follow the path if you let it walk (and not stop it before it reached the point where you tapped). Spoiler: HINT 3 The level was made to demonstrate the need to BLOCK a path. By not blocking it, you will be electrocuted.
Spoiler: THE SOLUTION! Tap on the top of a vertical cylinder that will cause B to bumb a ball. Once it bumbed the ball, tap on top of another vertical cylinder precisely when a rolling ball is passing that. Once B jumped the gap, tap on the top of a vertical cylinder that will cause a ball to roll that blocks a path, then tap on the top of the last vertical cylinder to make the last ball roll: as soon as that ball connects two walls, tap on the exit. So that is BEFORE that ball falls into a hole.
After playing Three Taps and thinking you shared too much, I refused to look down at the comments here. Kind of wish I did as I couldn't get it down to less than five taps. For some reason, the problems with the game play that you mentioned happened to me more often than not. Still, I thought it was a great design and I applaud your hard work and attention to detail. All the many possible paths made for engaging fun. Thanks!
@nGord Thank you for your kind words. Yes, it took me 8 hours of work to make this, so I'm happy that at least a few liked it . Will motivate me to make levels .
Does anyone know if Four Taps is still winnable? I've read all the hints, followed the solution steps (the best I could, it's somewhat open to interpretation), and have played a day on it. It's it me or the game?
