The initial design is good. I hope you progress gradually and design good levels. Of course, the goodness of a level has nothing to do with the amount of complexity or quantity of logic and puzzle. Each simple level can be good.
Thanks for the nice rating and excellent advice for level design. I'm trying to use originality, and study the design of have studied levels posted by others. Because I really enjoy building these things, I expect (hope) I'll improve with time. I have several that i haven't posted and probably won't, but might use as a basis for a new level. I'm glad you enjoyed County Fair!
A couple of places where timing was essential and a couple of tumbles to the ground when my timing wasn't so good and I totally missed the win block and just stepped off into space.
Bummer. I hope you tried again! This is one of my favorites, I was just beginning to figure out how to make levels with several differing traps, and keeping it tidy and the lines clean (well, I tried on this one but it got out of hand).I think I'm getting better, thanks to Don, my friend, coach and mentor! You hear, Don? @Don G Rowe
| A very playful level and enjoyable*. The intro started with an opening of some kind of gate or door? Then the fun begins. It feels like I'm at a fair and feels very nostalgic. *edited
Thanks! I had a good time making B duck and dodge his way around, to finally climb the stairs to the win. I was just figuring out how to use the motors, and landed on the configuration you see here. The gate, if I recall, was kinda out of place, but it served it's purposes. I'm glad you enjoyed this - along with Steady, it's another of my favorites. I'll have to !list my levels some day, in order. Starting with the one I like the most to the least favored. Thanks for the 5, Laurence! I'm happy that you got some good feelings from this.
