Know Your Stairs

Hm. I must be very lucky because I managed to solve the puzzle again in the unintended way this morning (i.e. through the basement). I have more trouble with reaching the end in the intended way.

@GFJ I think what you're doing is the intended solution.

Springboard stairs straight to the basement by the stairs next to the highest ball, then trick you're way in the basement to the win.

In your previous comment, you were using the third Springboard Stairs which takes you to the long stairs. The stairs just off the grass area will take you directly to the basement as @Block builder has advised.

Thank you, Block builder and gmacpro, for your comments and assistance. I can solve the puzzle and I can do it again. That is good enough for me. Whether my solution is intended (as Block builder said) or unintended ("pure luck") is not very important. I must have misinterpreted gmacpro's initial hints because I tried to auto pilot B down (not up) onto the grass. I am quite sure that that is not possible.

@gmacpro : how to avoid Bullet 3 in spoiler (first comment) the right way ?

@CarlyK - Thanks for playing. I'm not sure which bullet you mean, auto pilot, stairs side step or springboard stairs. I assume one of the latter as they require tapping. Here's a card that will help with both of those. With B on the stairs, tap the brick followed bu the grass and B will springboard stairs (SBS) over or Stairs Side Step (SSS).

@gmacpro thanks! Also for the level. Making things clear. But so far I managed to go near the end. But making my way to the exit on the last stair step....... surprise death. I’m. Im not able to avoid this sneaky object.

@CarlyK - Sorry about the 'surprise death' but like @Block builder mentioned way back - 'red herrings'. You don't need to go all the way around and down the stairs to get zapped. There's another way but it's a bit hidden.

@CarlyK - Using Mekostudio 3DBuilder will help you to see the the route where a SBS and a SSS is required only along with an auto pilot but you got that already. That's at MekoStudio.com. I can do up a solution video if you'd like?

@CarlyK - The video is posted in the Caption tab above. The trick to this level was to Know Your Stairs. In order to do a SBS or a SSS, you don't need to tap one block behind and in front or beside the stairs but any where in the same route. For example, in the sample card above, you can do the SSS by tapping the brick and the win as the win is in the same route as the grass.

@gmacpro thanks a lot for your help! Yes this solution is a bit different but worked. I did it but it’s feels a bit nasty Last question. So it’s not possible to work your way all around, two balls in holes and then do ‘a trick?’ with the stairs so you can get exit the level from ‘the surprise death stair’ - side of the level ?? Just curious since I spent a lot of time trying.
BTW> You should really post this level in the Tutorial section of this site. ☺️

@CarlyK - No, going around the outside is all a red herring as the zapper in the stairs will kill B so the win is only accessible from the other route.
