Break Out II

B has desperately searched for R the rescuer. As far as he knows, the zappers' clan have taken him to an underground facility. Who knows what they are doing to him ? This time, no one will be left behind.

@Frenzies I can completely understand that if that part doesn't work, the level is frustrating. The part before it takes time, the part after it takes much figuring out and thus some reattempts.

@Frenzies Thanks for this great review ! I agree with you on all the weak points you mentioned, but they were hard to avoid. The red herring is actually a mean to go back down if you missed the lever, but not very useful.
@Block builder Nice alternative solution !

      @vince Alternative? o_O

Ok so I replayed the level a bunch of times. And now B walked straight to the zapper bot twice. But mostly it went ok. Could maybe depend on the exact location and timing of where you tap leading up to that move, affecting B's exact orientation and resulting "shortest path".

      Regarding the intended solution:
      Is it:
      1. Going straight to the lever after pushing the pillar/beam.
      2. Then straight to the lift.
      3. Sliding the draggable (prevents R from stepping off the lift).
      4. B autopilots on top of R, over the block of the sliding draggable.
      ?

@Block builder @Frenzies This is the intended solution. About B walking toward the zappers, do you mean that he first goes away then goes back on the pillar where the ball used to be ? Because I don't see elsewhere he could go.
    • cpw
@vince sometimes B would strangely take another path and go straight to the zapper bot :rolleyes:
    • vince
@cpw This happened to me also, but I was actually tapping on the stair behind the ball... I could see that the tap circle was not at the right place when turning the level. This might not be what is happening to you though... I should have made another trick to fall

@vince That makes the level much easier. I prefer the original version

      It looks prettier though

Maybe I will be excommunicated out of the forum but when you use tricks they must be usable all the time, not 3/10 times. That is very important to me! The concept of the level is excellent. The technical execution is to farfetched. It is made special to be special.
Of course nobody stay awake about my rating but it will give only 3 stars.

@Fishmen You should try the second version, 4 comments above.

Wow! Amazing level but very complex. But... finally solved. I really hate first two zaps, I have repeated the level sooooo many times. :)
Impressive how smooth were the mechanisms. Thanks!
By the way, is it time for third part?

@chemi Thanks ! I don't think there will be a third part, but who knows :D
