Tower Spin

My 50th level, apparently. No tricks required.

Tower Spin

This level was inspired by a technique I learned from @Denis Nazin's level Spin-Doors.

      No tricks required.

To get the spinner moving, unlock it by raising the ring at the very top, then have B bump into the wall a few times. There are two sliders in the bottom floor that don't move, but can be used to speed up the spin. One moves it clockwise, and the other moves it counterclockwise.

Any time there are stairs it will be helpful to lock the level to stop it from spinning. You may need to have B bump the spinner wall a few times to get the stairs lined up precisely.

After bumping the ball from the 2nd level to the first, the ball may roll such that the star is hidden. If that happens, have B step on and off the ball a few times. The ball will move over as B starts to wedge in beside it, making the star accessible.

It's fun, i wonder how it works. :D i got 3 stars and about to get the last star but i fell. basically i completed it right? Kind of too lazy to come back all the way up again thought. 5 star

Thanks, @NoPal! (I would have done the same thing if I fell off near the end, lol)

      Cool level! I like it.
I didn't read the hints, so at first I always pushed with B. But then I thought - "why do you need the sliders at the bottom?o_O" And when I tried it - I was pleasantly surprised:D Cool idea of controlling large heavy doors with :
      control sliders

Thank you my friend, cool level ;)

Satisfying to get the tower moving in a controlled manner.

Congrats on your 50th level. A cute design & fun spinning gameplay. I never had to use B to push, just pressing the fixed two draggables the spin moved always. Thanks @MekaSage ;)

I did really well getting 3 out of 4 stars, studying the design so I knew what to do. With great care and patience I reached the top floor. I lined up the steps ready to take the last star but the turning blocks were slightly out of line. B went up the steps and lost balance falling off the level. Aaaaargh!

I did not want to spend so long getting back to the top so I was unable to complete this level and give a rating.

It is an excellent design but you really have to get each move right by thinking carefully. I rushed it near the end.

Thanks, @Denis Nazin, @ridgerunner, @delator77, and @Chris Hester for playing, commenting, and rating!

      @Denis Nazin -
I figured out the control technique by accident. Originally I didn't have the ring at the top to freeze the movement, and the sliders at the bottom were intended for that purpose (by moving a slider up to block the spinner. The sliders were in a slightly different location at the time.). It was difficult to get the timing right to use the sliders to stop the spinner, but that's when I discovered they could actually speed up the spinner.

@Chris Hester - it sounds like you had the same experience as @NoPal. Perhaps I should have added railings to the top of the spinner to help avoid that.
