Okay I had another go. I would give the design 5 stars, but there was a big stumbling block for me: Spoiler It was almost impossible to move the motor underwater to get into the tunnel. I really had to keep pushing. I restarted as it wouldn't move any further. Eventually it came out at an angle and B was able to push it to one side. It was very frustrating. I did get to the top. I think I know how to win. But there was a deadly trap: Spoiler If you don't fly far enough across the gap you end up on the fences, where there is no way to move. I was completely stuck, so near to the end. So a great level design that I really enjoyed playing. It was great to ride the boat to the other side.
Fun adventure on a great looking bridge. I liked the gameplay to free the drawbridges and allow them to rotate up. I didn’t have any problems using any part of the level when i was exploring but I didn’t need to use all of them to collect all the stars. In particular didn’t need to push the ball that is half out of the water or push the underwater fence budgeable.
@Chris Hester Thanks so much for the feedback I never had any trouble with the underwater block so idk but you at totally right about the top I should have made a recovery or designed it to be more accurate. Heaps of thanks for playing I enjoy your levels.
@ridgerunner Thanks for playing I did mean for it to be a bit fun and easy because I find a lot of levels on here hard (mekoguy!) I tried to block most of the shortcuts obviously I missed a few also those **** balls never stay where I put them!
@Tui ..i did enjoy exploring and finding new things each time i started. Found many ways to win. What confused me the most was the gameplay after pushing the ball nearest to starting position of B. I was able to go from there directly to the long vertical draggable up to the finish. But it wasn’t so easy next time I played then i realised the path .under the blocks is probably meant to be impassable and that was why the other budgeable was nearby. Regarding the top moves, by not lining B up with fencing, you can’t get stuck on the fencing!
@ridgerunner @Tui my bad, you're right! I should have stood facing the gap between the fences! Now you've given me an idea for Mekorama 2... https://mekoramaforum.com/threads/cheat-mode.1914/ I just want to know how @ridgerunner got to the lift block without going underwater to push the ball...
@Chris Hester .. i did go underwater to push the ball. It was after the push that i found a shortcut to get to the high lift.sometimes easy to find but not quick in this video. Spoiler: Video
@ridgerunner it looks like you had trouble getting onto the sliding steps after pushing the ball. I remember that being easy for me, I just pushed B on it and then went up the steps to reach the ball. (But now I just tried it and can't get through!) Will have to give your way a try! Anything but pushing the motor again...
Finally won! Spoiler I found the best way to move the motor underwater was to push it in first with B, then from the other side with the block. This time it flew out!
Each star requires a different capture plan & they're not linear. However, I love exploring possibilities & this has plenty. I believe B completed the run as intended; it was a pretty clean run. Retries needed for final win & I love the recovery...B's knocked to the basement then goes right back up to try again. Very cool level!
Absolutely awesome exploration adventure with lots on the go and it seems many different ways to capture all the stars. Really enjoyed working through this one and the amazing draw Bridges plus the ship that could be accessed from both sides. Thank you
This level took me quite a while to finish (with all starts), and even after completing it, I came back and found a better use for some newly discovered elements, and that made my solution more elegant. A great exploration/puzzle level!
