Spoiler: Video Apologies for not including translations but thingsvwent horribly wrong with some garbage produced. The building on this level is inspired by the beautiful Lutheran Church of Hallgrimkirkja in Reykjavik, Iceland. Unfortunately, within the limits of Mekorama, I was unable to do justice to the monochrome simplicity and elegant curves of this magnificent building. Hopefully though, the result makes a reasonably pleasing stand alone design. Gameplay relies on several elements I have used often before, rising bots, bot on bot walking, long ball drops etc. The plot involves B making sure that the church is securely locked and darkened for the long Arctic night. Unfortunately the two choirs, Red and Blue, are an unruly lot and cause chaos. The game gets off to a tragic and eventful start. As the gameplay area unfolds one of the doorkeepers, an ancient soul like myself, passes away and, as he ascends heavenward, B realizes he still has in his possession the only set of keys to the Church. He must quickly retrieve the keys (star) without being transported skyward himself. Spoiler: Tips The rest of the work around level 16 is self-explanatory and allows the blue choir to exit the building and allow access to more works. Drop B down from the tower stopping halfway to trigger the release of the red choir. The red choir is supposed to turn off the lights at the west end of the building, but B always has to intervene. Quickly lower B to ground level after releasing the ball and block the R robots by standing on the brick pillar. This causes them to turn right early and take the zapper-protected star at the end of the corridor. With the blue choir outside building B, you can now access the light switch (star) in the window behind the choir stalls, but be careful, go too high and you'll be hit by a faulty lamp. Take B back to the front of the church and along the east corridor, where he can pick up the R bot released by a previous ball that fell from the bell tower. Very carefully, a few steps at a time, move the B/R combo back to the center of the church. Raising the platform up to the spire allows access to a staircase that leads to a raised walkway at the rear of the church. Position B carefully so that R climbs onto the catwalk and moves to turn off the lights at the back of the church (4th star). Bring the platform to the tower down to lift B up to the bell tower. Once there, move to level 16 towards the other up bot chute. Release the ascending bot and at the right time cross the gap to the last light switch (5th star),
Looks great opening up and extending. Good story and i liked using the R chorister from the wing. Used that R for two stars as the main choir went out the wrong door.
SUPER design!!! Very similar! Interesting gameplay. As always, you have made a very spectacular level reveal. Beautiful architecture both outside and inside. I noticed that inside you made chandeliers from Z blocks - I really liked it. Thank you, of course 5!
WOW!! Simply amazing... Another masterpiece, pure Meko-art in motion...the openning is spectacular...also I spent time figuring it out so this level is perfect!! viewing works like this I feel really small, I am not able to put two bricks next to each other, I'm a denial in the creative aspect ... but hey, at least I enjoy the enormous talent you have and I'm agree with that , you are a genius ... thanks for sharing, for the fun & for giving us this Meko-gift @MekoMole btw... Spoiler Watching your video I have seen that I have had a significant difference and incidentally I have understood what it was for that ball that fell next to the only member of the red choir that B later carries over to catch one of the stars...Since I didn't see that step I had to resort to the members of the blue choir and I don't know how but I was able to direct it to catch that star... maybe I was lucky
Thanks @ridgerunner for a very generous review. Your reuse of the R is very canny. Not sure why the R choir went out the wrong door but I did warn that the choirs were an unruly lot. During testing I did find that if the two choirs were in the process of exiting at around the same time total mayhem ensued.
@Denis Nazin Thank you for such an enthusiastic and generous response. Praise from the Master Builder is always very welcome. I'm glad you liked the chandeliers, I felt they added interest to the interior. At first I found the matrix dimensions of Mekorama a bit restrictive but now find it an interesting challenge, as you and other designers have proven.
Thank you @Nathan Sabari for such kind comments. The level did take some considerable time to build and test but that's what I like about Mekorama. Your reaction as a builder is important to me. Thank you.
@delator77 I am overwhelmed by your response, thank you for such an undeserved review. You belittle yourself by stating that you can't put two blocks together, you are one of a tight group of Super Players who devour everything that we builders throw at you. The fact that your group takes time to acknowledge and encourage is hugely appreciated, especially by me. Congratulations on your alternative play in the Spoiler, this is not luck but Super Player skill coming into play. My video solutions are always indicative, I have too much respect for my regular Three Musketeers to be complacent. Larritu egiten nau zure erantzunak, eskerrik asko merezi gabeko berrikuspenagatik. Zure burua gutxiesten duzu bi bloke ezin dituzula elkartu adieraziz, eraikitzaileok botatzen dizugun guztia irensten duten Super Jokalari talde estu batekoa zara. Zure taldeak aitortzeko eta bultzatzeko denbora behar duela asko estimatzen da, batez ere nik. Zorionak Spoiler-en jokatu duzun alternatibagatik, hau ez da zortea, Super Player trebetasuna jokoan sartzen ari dela. Nire bideo-soluzioak beti dira adierazgarriak, errespetu handiegia diet nire ohiko Hiru Mosketeroei lasai egoteko.
What an awesome design & story! I needed the step by step spoiler to complete. Very concise instructions & a great help. I'm amazed by the church, both the actual & your creation. The work put in must be impressive. Thank you!
Thank you @MomoKeego for playing and such a generous review. I'm glad the instructions proved useful, I sometimes think I ramble on too much. It was a lot of work but I enjoy building this type of level, it helps keep my ancient brain active trying to squeeze everything into such a small space.
Astronomical Endeavor as always from you with such creative genius in these unfolding masterpieces! For a while I could not figure out why there was a single righty and he needed a ball? Then it all came together for me. Wonderful fun and thank you very much
Thank you so much @Sammy 5 for such a wonderful review and rating. As always thank you for having fun playing the level, that's the ultimate accolade. I've been working on some levels over the last six months or so but haven't published. Hopefully your very kind review will prompt me to resume.
