Near the distant village of Mek-al-Rama in a remote region of Libya, the ancient Ak-wa water tower, still in use for the village, is not functioning. Three engineers from the BLR company (Benghazi Liquid Repairs) are called to fix the issue. As they arrive in their Jeep over the oil patched road, the underground stream appears dry, and the tower seems filled with a strange substance. Spoiler: Tricks Freeze (by holding) Gravity gun Jump pad Autopilot jump pad Claustophobia may also be used but is not required Spoiler: Note on trick stability If B gets stuck in the gravity gun, move the slider of the jumping pad up and down. The slider interferes with the gravity gun slope. Thanks to @Meko Guy for pointing out a shortcut in the original upload. Also fixed a second shortcut near the win.
The hidden ball paths and the mechanics you don't see how they work make the levels harder than they really are, and you seem to have forgotten a trick Spoiler autopilot jump pad
That was fun and tied in well with the good story. Hopefully engineer B is not claustrophobic as he got stuck half way down the tower first time.
Awesome level! Super idea and design, challenging and very interesting gameplay! 1) Great idea and plot 2) Great design, it's a small meko world. 3) Very interesting long and intricate gameplay with a very thoughtful sequence and cool moves. 4) Good mechanism I really like this level. But, unfortunately, there are several unstable places: Spoiler 1) The ball that pushes R - once stuck in the mechanism 2) When B is inside the tower, once I had a door jammed (a door that should fall down), it skewed outward a little and jammed. It couldn't fall. 3) The ball that pushes B must fall next to the spinning motor. Once the ball caught on the edge of the motor and did not fall inside, but rather bounced off the outside and flew out of the level. 4) Jump B on the tower is difficult - I often fly over or land on the roof. But this is a special test, I found it difficult for such a long level. I understand that this is a special challenge, but it seems to me that it is quite difficult and requires reloading for such a long and difficult level. It seems to me that it was possible to put an upper limiter so that B (if it flies from above) rested against this limiter - for example, a higher roof of the tower. B will fly and rest against it and fall to land on the balcony. Sorry, this is my subjective opinion, I had a lot of overshoots because of this jump. But! Maybe you specifically want it to be a more difficult task. This is just my opinion, sorry. Despite some instability (which is normal for mekorama mechanisms!) this is a VERY COOL level! Thank you very much for creating this masterpiece! One of the most interesting levels in recent times. This is definitely a 5! Thank you
@Denis Nazin Thanks for the nice feedback! You and @Meko Guy reported some instabilities. They all also happened during my tests. Also @ridgerunner 's B being stuck half way down the tower happened to me once. Also, I had B falling from the level after having pushed the ball above two stairs in the corner of the level. But, if I didn't screw it up myself, everything worked what felt 9/10 times. The jump is difficult, indeed. The star right above the jump pad is a benchmark. It's up to the player to be cautious on the slower side when dragging the jump pad. And believe me, I failed many times myself. But then, even when the bot-stuff at the start starts to become a bit dull, my brain goes like "life is hard, this is a challange, improve yourself, overcoming challenge is fun". I guess that wouldn't be the mindset of all players, all of the time... In short: it's an adventure.
Excellent level in all senses... storyline, design & gameplay... thanks for sharing & for the fun @Block builder btw, maybe there will be people who do not care about storylines but I find them a very interesting and immersive element and I enjoy the levels with storylines much more
@delator77 One one of my last levels I played, R failed out of the gamespace and B looked after R likely thinking by itself: Realy? You leave me alone? It is supposed that we achive the goal together ... For me it is part of the Charme of the game.
My friend I have been playing this level for so long time, that I couldn't complete this level. As Denis pointed out, one time or other, unstable things are happening to me. The level took me a lot of time, that I was skipping for days. Can I have the video solution Spoiler: Spoiler What B has to do in tower? I think I almost finished 80%, but couldn't get any hint
What a great story. Of course, the bots must restore the water. BLR Co.(clever name) to the rescue! The spoiler tip on the gravity gun helped, ALOT. I was at the point of giving up, then I read the tip & continued. Still had multiple restarts, but advanced every time after that. The jump to the balcony was hilarious! I LOL'd so much, I had to explain to my spouse what set me off. It's very satisfying when you nail the landing! A couple of times, B snagged the star & landed on the stack, perfect! More bot herding & hitching a ride got B to the win. I enjoyed this so much, very entertaining! Thank you. The water is running again.
@MomoKeego Thank you for your wonderful review. I'm glad you got the BLR reference, and the spirit of the level.
