Fun! I didn't see how to get B to the middle level until too late, but I found a ridiculous way to autopilot there. But I wouldn't call it a shortcut because the autopilot takes a long time to do, requires some luck, and is as annoying as Boogie Bots. The intended path is much more clever!
@MekaSage . There is also a reliable autopilot to get B to middle area . Spoiler: Autopilot using the outer of the two draggables separated by single grass block. Have B on sand near the corner, tap the block beside the half cylinder where the ball was. Lift the draggable a block in height and B nearly always land on half cylinder
The level seems very compact (small). But when you start playing it turns out to be a very, very long way of the R direction, with the help of B. This is a GREAT classic mekorama level !! Thanks for the great level logic. I really liked it! Super! Of course 5 !!!
@ridgerunner - Spoiler Your way is a lot easier and faster than the autopilot I used. Mine used the other of the risers separated by the grass square. From the top level, tap on the L-shaped path above where you want B to travel to and quickly bring the slider down. B will try to autopilot, but will be blocked. Here's where it gets challenging/annoying. Slowly raise the riser until B gets long legs trying to reach the path (but stop before B can climb onto the path). B will lean over to the left. Raise and lower the riser until B falls off of it, still with long legs. Now slam the riser up and down repeatedly until the edge of the block nudges B enough to push B past the brick column, at which point B will finish the autopilot. Getting the riser to nudge B seems to take a certain rhythm of raising and lowering it in time with B's swaying.
Help, I have no idea how to put B on the middle level! @MekaSage when you mentioned the intended path, what was it?
@zi19 Spoiler: Hint When a ball forms part of a path, it often serves two purposes. And if the hint doesn't help... Spoiler B needs to stand on the ball that forms part of the path. Use L to knock down the ball with B on it.
Wow - that was worthy of 6 or more stars. All logic with challenging moves all crammed into a small space. I was going to use a trick or two until I read 'No B Tricks'. I've used the opening L move previously but with R. Good show.
Amazing logical depth for such a compact level and puzzles within puzzles. Thoroughly enjoyable. B is a good tour guide. Perhaps like some others, I got all the balls except the one behind B's head in the level card picture above (under the half stone wedge), and then I really scratched my head. @MekaSage 's first comment gave the clue I needed -- that B can get down there.
For those looking for more hints (since it's a little tricky), here are two that relate to bot behavior: Spoiler: Who Bumps the Balls on a Rail on a Stair? Only R or L can bump these, using the long-legs behavior. B cannot. Spoiler: Who Gets the Win? The win block is under a half stone wedge. B cannot go under it, but R or L can. When all else fails, here is my video walkthrough, which is hopefully close to the intended solution. Spoiler: Video Solution
For such a small level that was pretty tricky stuff. Lots of shuffling around Lefty and B. Needed some help from the VS so thank you @Buurmas. Great level
