This bug was already discovered; it's called the Ghost Block bug. There is also a way to make it completely stable. You just have to put a slider, then attach a chunk of metal and a motor with blocks that can hit the chunk of metal to it. @meko also discovered that it can be used to make B pass through a block in Passing Through.
