I also had serious trouble achieving consistency and reliability with this level. Three areas posed problems: 1. Getting past the zapper was an exercise in luck to get B's legs extended just right so that he wouldn't get zapped; 2. Getting swept into the last section often resulted in B being swept onto an R bot's head (regardless of how fast or slow I would complete the run) and then there is no way down for B; and 3. Navigating the up and down lifts is difficult to coordinate with the rails for the sliders in the way of tapping. What I did like was the artistic effect of the lanes and the sliding fence blocks on the back wall were cool. I also like the concept of having to outrun an R bot (that isn't just another zapper bot). Nice effort.
@nGord Hi and how are you? It's been a while since i had a conversation with you . Thanks for your review and ratings. I do believe that the level is not without flaws, but regarding your area of problems, here is the the intended strat to get around them Spoiler Problem 1: B would get zapped in two cases: a) case 1: Just before B lands on the movable, the fan (rotating thing above him) hits B on the head pushing him downwards towards the zapper. Try to time it so that the fan is not close while you make the move and you will be safe. case 2: If you move the dragable too close to or too far to the droping point. My strat is to keep the draggable in 2 1/2 space distance. It always works. In total: hold B near the start of the stares, point on the destined spot just before the fan appears, drag and hold the movable in the 2 1/2 space. B would not hit the fan and would land on the draggable without getting zapped. This will do the trick. Problem 2: B landing on R, Yes that does happen most of the time. But that does not make any difference. Why? because if you are fast enough that R bot on whom B is landing is on the first place. So stay on him for a while until he moves in the first autolift section, which does not take a lot of time, once there you can easily move from there to the 2nd autolift. The intended strat here is using R as a means of stealing his First place. (Hahahah Evil laugh) Problem 3: I am sorry for that, cause even I couldn't find a way around it. But this problem is the reason for the back animation near the winning spot. Yes the problem made me think to let that side empty but than I thought that it would be too easy. So i used movable and put it on both sides so that it looks animated as well as helps clear the stage. Hope it helps Again thanks for taking time to giving a detailed response on what you liked and didn't like about the level. I will try to make better ones in the near future.
By the way did anyone spot the hidden word in the level. I like leaving behind stuff in my level for players to find, considering they are playing it again and again.
Reviewing unfinished levels I finally solved this one. Very nice ability level, just found difficult last part of it because tap didn't work very well. But I really enjoyed the race! Thanks!
@chemi Thanks chemi. I just wanted a bigger race but just couldn't make it. Probably I would make a part 2 of it. Sorry about the last part.
Another great skill level that I had forgotten to value .... what would I be thinking about? A very original design and gameplay and .... run B, run jajajaja!!!
@delator77 Thanks for your review. I had made a part 2 for this level but before I could complete it, the card disappeared from my make level section and I couldn't find the motivation to build the whole level right from scratch.
