Diagonal Steps

This is primarily a demo and training level. But there is a little gameplay here - I think it is also fun and interesting. This is a trick level!

      Friends! I really want to share with you a trick that I discovered for myself. Surely, over the many years of its existence, the forum has already been opened. But I have never met him on the forum for half a year. Therefore, I do not know who used it? What is it called? And was it ever used? I unfortunately did not know how to do it. But I spent several days studying it. AND I AM HAPPY !! I learned how to make it stably! I want to share my experience with you. Working title - "Diagonal steps". Even if this trick has already been applied. I am sure that it will be interesting for new players to learn how to make it. I want to explain in detail how to make it STABLE.

      you need to make 4 clicks. 2 preparatory and 2 very accurate in time.
      1) Step on the stairs and let B calm down.
      2) Click on the lower side block. For B to run down and to the side.
      3) Now you need to click on the stairs again. BUT this must be done very precisely in time !!! - B must be between blocks. There are 2 blocks of grass under the stairs. B must get off the stairs and try to step on the 2nd block. At that moment when he enters the second block, BUT he has not finally started on it !!! At this point, you need to click on the stairs.
      4) B turns around and starts moving diagonally! B will begin to climb over the higher floor block of grass. The moment he starts climbing a block of grass, you need to have time to click on any block of the upper floor. It is best to click on a higher ladder !!! And B will stop at a block of grass!
      Then you repeat everything again in the same sequence but in the opposite direction.
      I hope I have explained in detail and clearly. I really want you to succeed. Watch the beginning of the video walkthrough! I brought the screen closer - so that it was very clearly visible how I was doing it. I wish you good luck friends!
      When you learn how to do this trick, you will get real pleasure from diagonal steps)).

      What you call diagonal steps looked like a boogie bot move to me, and I found @EL797 included it in his trick demos (BB3) here:

      Thank you very much. Yes, it is. But I have not seen this anywhere in the last half of the year. I think all new members will be interested. And I made a very detailed overview of how you can learn to do this. I think this is useful information anyway. And this is not just a demo - there is a little fun level)).
    • Denis Nazin
      @cimarronline It still seems to me that this is very different from the boogie bot. This is completely different. The base here is the staircase. There is no ladder in the boogie bot. In a boogie bot there are many, many repetitions of the same movements. In this trick there is a radical change of direction relative to the first two angular movements. And this trick doesn't need a lot of repetition. Two very precise clicks are enough!

      Had discovered this trick last year, this is much harder demo:
      https://mekoramaforum.com/media/45angle-demo.20338/

      At the time, I didn't know that this trick was called boggie bot, and it was also explored by myself, so I called it a 45-degree angle trick, and soon I knew that @EL797 had done a demo of this trick.

      Later I found that this trick is not so easy for some players, so after a short period of frequent use, I rarely use this trick in my level.

      In fact, Im happy to see that here is a newer demo of this trick.
      Thanks for sharing!

      Thanks. Yes Yes. I have exactly the same story. I have not met either. I also learned it myself)). But it seems to me that this trick should be called differently. It is very different from a boogie bot. This is my opinion)). I like your name more, and it is similar in meaning to mine.

      The trick is really difficult if you don't know what to do. I thought and studied for 2 days. But when I learned, I realized that it is easy to do. But you need to do exactly as I described. And then you can do it very stably. This was my main goal! I would like to tell in detail to those who do not know how to do it. Hopefully my very long first comment will help the players.
      I realized that this trick is much easier to do - when there are at least 2 blocks to the side of the stairs !! When there is 1 block to the side of the stairs, the trick is more difficult. I made it as simple as possible. I have 2 blocks to the side of the ladder and another ladder. If you click on it (as I wrote in the first comment), the trick is MUCH easier to do. I made it as convenient and easy as possible for learning!
      When you know how to do this, it is a pleasure to climb the stairs:D:D!

      @Denis Nazin Practice makes perfect, this trick is not so hard as we think.;)

      You said that when there is two blocks beside stair, it can work more stably. Thats a good discovery, i have never knew it:rolleyes:

      EDIT: I read your spoiler and found out.
      Cancel step trick is also required.

      The larger the vector of counteraction of the basic inertia of motion B, the easier and more stable - B stops at the desired block. mekorama is a unique game - the laws of physics work in it! And the perpendicular angle of reaction is important. That's why I named it "Diagonal steps"

      That is why I think this trick is fundamentally different from BB (boogie bot). In the boogie bot, only the vector of striving TO CENTER is applied!
      [IMG]
      in this trick, we move the vector of motion B fundamentally perpendicular to the side! This is the main difference. And of course the ladder is used here! Which will change the level - floor B. Accordingly, B is much easier to crawl over a higher block.
      @Lang Tao Jin @cimarronline

      I find this trick MUCH EASIER for BB (boogie bot).
      You don't need to do very, very many annoying and naughty movements from the side to the side. Enough 2 very accurate clicks. And B is always obedient! I hope I have proven it in my video)).

      Quite tough for me.

      Only passed 2 stairs, then exhausted.

      Good to see you are getting into Tricky Levels!

      @Pratik Bhalerao
      I am very glad that you entered my level. I'm sure you will succeed. It takes a little practice. The main thing is to read the first comment carefully. But when you catch the moment of pressing - you will understand that it is not very difficult and **** nice! :D;)

      I already have a lot of trick levels!
      I think you'll like it - "Palm" and "Water Bungalows". I already have 2 more trick levels with discoveries ready, and about 6 demo cards. But they are difficult ((. Probably few people will be able to pass them. I work very hard to make them accessible ...

      Short and easy trick level. Thanks for sharing. Love BB, it always looks so funny watching B stumble around :rotf:

      @Denis Nazin

      I tried for one last time.
      Upward BB is not fun for me.
      Its literally exhausting.

      Will try them...

      @Pratik Bhalerao
      Thanks for trying! Sorry for the inconvenience. I tried very hard to make it as convenient and stable as possible. But apparently it's all the same difficult. And you need to practice for a long time.
      I hope you at least enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere with the gazebo. I really wanted to brighten up this trick with a pleasant atmosphere). Thanks for playing!

      I think you had mastered this trick. You did it so quickly in the video while I was struggling to get it done. But eventually I did it! I think you missed out one trick as I saw in your video, you used

      after doing the diagonal step trick.
