How to get B across?

Spoiler: I suspect...

...we need to use the ball, but although I got it down over the zaps between Jaeger legs, I am not able to cross from one foot to the other.
Still trying...

Spoiler: Cross the Zaps

1).Drag the Jaeger one step backward.
2).Tap on a zap in front of the Jaeger left foot, then drag the jaeger one step forward.
3).When B try to climb the Jaeger right foot, drag the Jaeger two steps backward.
4).When B try to cross to the other foot, tap on the white floor just before B landing on the Jaeger left foot.

But how.. the arm seems don't listen to me.
